Coronavirus: Trump to defy 'voluntary' advice for Americans to wear masks

Listen. Trump has two jobs. Head of government, and head of state. I'm not going to even comment on how he's doing as head of government, but as head of state he has one responsibility in this crisis, and that's to wear the damn mask. Head of state means being a good sport, setting a good example, and occasionally wearing silly clothes. In a monarchy, you wear a funny hat on state occasions. During a pandemic, you wear a surgical mask and pretend you like it.

Just suck it up and do it.

He can't handle being made fun of, that's partly why he demolished everything Obama did because he was laughed at at the WH Correspondent's Dinner. He won't do it, it ruins what he thinks his image is.
