If you aren't committed to teaching your child honesty, you might at least commit to teaching him how to lie well. You and I both know that if you had seen me, or anybody else, leaving dog poop in front of your home you would've said something at the time. On that note, I understand that your wits are clearly a bit scattered from the stress or you probably would've had the sense not to harass somebody who is currently holding a bag of poop and thus NOT the culprit, but you still should've expected that the obvious rejoinder from an innocent woman to "I have video evidence" would be "Yeah? Show me!" and had a back-up plan. Your kid is right there. If you don't intend to teach honesty, and you don't intend to teach good lying, what are you going for here, showing your child to throw tantrums in the street?
