Eva: I thought Kim Possible wore cargo pants.
Me: She does.
Eva: No....
Me: Yes!
Eva: No, cargo pants have...
Me: Pockets? Look!
Eva: Oh, yeah. I meant camouflage.
Me: No, she doesn't.
Eva: I guess this is easier.
Me: Easier for... oh, you mean for the animators! I thought you meant for Kim!
Eva: That'd be weird. So if she's a spy-
Me: Not a spy.
Eva: Of course she's a spy!
Me: No.
Eva: If she's not a spy, what is she?
Me: She's a basic average girl, weren't you watching the theme song?
Eva: She's a spy.
Me: She's a freelance superhero hobbyist without powers but with gadgets.
Eva: Like a spy.
Me: Like Batman, except less wealthy*.
Eva: Batman's a spy! I mean, he's a superhero, but he's also a spy.

* Actually, given her two effortlessly brilliant parents, the Possible family has to be financially comfortable. Not rolling in it, maybe, but realistically that girl sure doesn't need to scrounge for a scholarship. Not, uh, that she'd need to with her extracurriculars and GPA, but. Still.

You're figuring her parents for being effectively patent-printing machines, huh?

Batman is a spy?

What exactly does she think a spy is?

I think Eva has a salient point about both Kim and Batman.

Batman's not a spy; he's a vigilante. Seems like Eva is a bit hazy on the meaning of espionage (https://www.britannica.com/topic/espionage) as distinct from other forms of intelligence-gathering. Journalists aren't (usually) spies either, though they may use some similar methods.
