Don't they do checks of people before allowing them to adopt?

Or something? How can she have just stopped paying their tuition? Why didn't she just leave them in the US with relatives here?

If the woman had no prior record and seemed normal, they would have gladly adopted, especially if the children were black. Black children are the hardest to adopt out. As amazing as it is, they have an actual waitlist for adopting children with Down's while hundreds of black children wander through the foster system!

Still, I can't believe she almost got away with this! Did she never think to check up on the kids after they got to Nigeria?!?! Thank gods that missionary showed up!

i sincerely hope that the lock the wench up who did that. its bad enough what foster kids go through, without someone adopting them, then just leaving them again. that is sick.
