That was her second attempt.

Here was her first

Notice her comment later down:

Why is it when someone disagrees with you, you questione their maturity, intelligence or both?
Can't someone have different ideas than you and still be intelligent and mature?
Youre very condecending to people who have views different than yours

Am I missing something?

I saw that, o_O'ed, and then moved on.

I'm glad I don't live in New York and have to deal with people like that on a daily basis.

Same here.

Although...with Idaho ranking 5th in the nation as far as growth, the shortest distance from point A to point B is under construction.

If it's not the protestors blocking the streets, it's going to be something else. People like that will bitch about anything.

Jeebus. When I first glanced at your initial post I just sort of shrugged it because when I lived in DC (*sniffles*) I could get up a really good "fucking protesters" rant. But! But! That doesn't mean I think we should go about violating first amendment rights.

*shakes head* Yeah, it sucks having to go around blockades, swipe/show ID at every building, and getting sidetracked by anarchists but, ya know what, I'm gonna go out on a limb and say it's worth it for the whole democracy thing we've got going.

Not only that, I figure that protest/criticism is *necessary* for a healthy country and a healthy democracy. When people tell me it is unpatriotic to criticise your country, I point out that if no one says what the government is doing wrong, how are they supposed to know? A country full of yes-men is going nowhere, fast.
