How windy was it that even an empty trailer could do that?

It also had some perfect weird physics. That shouldn't work like that, and yet it did. Also, that's some building in that house.

You'd have to be a very credible source speaking to people that could recite the specifications of different rigs and calculate with sliderules to sell this without video.

Insofar as the damage to the house was no worse (I can't say based on the dash cam we can tell the extent) I think the power lines took a beating. Can you see if the pole was in the usual upright position prior or is the trailer in the way as it flies up?

WHOA.

Empty moving(?) truck + inattentive driver + drainage ditch = jackknife from hell? Also, that's one heckuva house. Damn.

The thing that gets me, almost more than the event itself, is the silence with which our observer greeted this. I could hear his radio, so the sound was definitely on - and no, "Jesus Christ! What the fuck?" or something of that sort. A truly phlegmatic passer by. Or perhaps just Canadian.

OK, that was weird. Glad that's not my house. (Also, I bet the insurance company doesn't pay them a damn thing.)

Huh. At least nobody got hurt; too bad about the nice old house though.
