Eva baked breakfast pastries

Her cinnamon ones are good, but too heavy on the cinnamon. They could use a better cinnamon/brown sugar balance in the filling, and maybe a smidge of salt.

I digress.

When cleaning up she carelessly put one of my dinner bowls inside her next-smallest mixing bowl. It's a perfect fit.

*headdesk*

I've carefully tilted the water out and filled the inside glass bowl with ice. In a few minutes I'll submerge the bottom of the plastic bowl in hot water and hopefully that'll be enough to dislodge my bowl without breaking it due to the temperature differential.

I have, of course, explained this to Eva, with the caveat that she really can't ever put one thing inside another if it fits perfectly. Well, with luck she'll only make this mistake once. I'm sure I've made it more often.

Edit: I thought I'd never succeed, but I persevered and now the bowls are separated once more.

I'll believe that an upper limit exists, but for now I find it astonishing.

I love my roomie to death but he busted one of my favorite glasses by putting it in another glass that was the exact same size after I'd asked him repeatedly not to do that.

Did he then follow up with "I didn't know not to do that, you never told me"? Because if so, death is too good for him /s

Perfect fit

We used to have that problem in the studio with wet glazing buckets. Fortunately also had an air compressor with a small nozzle that could shoot a little jet of air between them. Also worked a treat when hand-built mugs dried down tight over the mold forms.
