The psychedelics article does not contradict the headline so much as it fails to deliver on the headline. I am willing to believe the headline is a true statement, but the headline states it a hell of a lot more confidently than the article does.

(Also, speaking as a polytheist and animist with some interest in and a little experience with entheogens—and I suspect no psychedelics exist that aren't entheogens under certain circumstances—I think they're missing a significant factor here.)
