I just don't understand why people aren't busting down the gates with crowbars. There are fucking babies in there.

School bus rentals are relatively cheap. Overpowering the guards is much more of an issue. You'd need lawyers and media, although those are there a plenty. The narrative should be that ordinary Americans, en masse, shouldn't stand for this.

It's a pity that the anti-abortion people who are so concerned about babies, enough to harass women and shoot doctors, are silent on this.

Maybe the left needs to be more gun culture? More survivalist? IDK.
Yeah, this is the weird disconnect I keep arriving at. I'm both, "Do we need more citizens with guns to overpower the guards at these places?" and "Guns are bad, don't arm citizens, that just creates more problems!" at the same time.

Going up against the police is SCARY. I'm afraid to do it myself, honestly. I think I would be even if the seizure disorder didn't make strobe lights such a problem. Even without particular police brutality, the long-term consequences of arrest are really daunting.

Fortunately, a lot of people are braver than me, and yesterday a group of Jewish protestors got arrested while trying to shut down the ICE facility in Elizabeth, NJ. Here's how to contribute to their bail fund. They're part of a larger organization with similar actions scheduled Tuesday in Boston and Friday in SF.

Thanks very much for these links. My birthday fundraiser last year was for RAICES, but it was a difficult decision to make because I hadn't the faintest idea about what constitutes a legit US charity. Info like this really helps.
