Date: 2019-06-30 02:08 am (UTC)We need to overpower the guards AND keep them from calling for reinforcements - and we want to do this with a minimum of casualties, especially among the children.
We need to have a fast getaway with all those kids, and we need to quickly place them in temporary Spanish-speaking* foster homes until relatives can be found to take them. I strongly imagine that one the kids are out, nobody would dare put them back in.
That's... a shitton of manpower on both ends, and supplies. And these places are out in the middle of stinking nowhere, aren't they? How're we gonna get there and they don't see us coming?
* Not all the kids will speak Spanish. Despite the hype, even now many people in Latin America don't and never did.

This is a doable plan, we just need more people and we need to not get caught in the planning stages.

Those aren't babies, they're foreign kids.

Here's how to contribute to their bail fund. They're part of a larger organization with similar actions scheduled Tuesday in Boston and Friday in SF.
