They were like this last year as well. Unfortunately, their wet food is where I mix in their fiber AND ALSO if you leave it out until the dogs are willing to eat it you get flies, which ew.
So I've taken to making bitty fiber supplements by mixing in flaxseed and psyllium husk with peanut butter. This, they'll eat until they're sick. (Sometimes I think these are very spoiled dogs.)
I will not give the details as to the advantages and disadvantages of fiber, in order to spare everybody's sensitive stomachs.

"Maybe They’re Born With It, or Maybe It’s Experience"
The most disturbing thing to me about this whole study is the ridiculous nature-v-nurture paradigm for thinking about human development the researchers impose on the subjects: either "learning styles" are genetic or they're learned from parents. Because those are the only two possibilities explanatory hypotheses their subjects might have, clearly. *rolls eyes*
I'm trying to get the research to actually load in my browers, and it's not coming up, so I can't address it except as represented in the article you link to, but if that's in the least bit accurate, there's a whole trainwreck of categories they conflate. Born-with is not innate (fetal alcohol syndrome is something one is born with which is not innate, e.g.) is not inherited (we generally consider gender innate, not inherited, e.g.) is not unchangeable (if you're born with a hole in your heart, you can get it surgically patched, e.g.); environmental is more than "experience", unless one means "did one experience getting enough protein" and "did one experience a lot of ear infections in the first year of life" and "did one experience being around a lot of television" and so forth and so on.
This is the sort of thing that makes me want to slap psychologists for embarrassing the profession.
ETA: Not least, because right this moment in history, the single most notorious Terrible Lay Hypothesis About Human Mental Development is that of the antivaxxers, which is an example of an environmental cause that's not learned (a toxin) that causes permanent change ("vaccine injury"/autism). So you can't possibly say this isn't a way people think to explain mental phenomena.
I don't know if that's a belief that any of the learning-styles crowd hold, but if they didn't allow for the possibility and ask about it, then neither do these researchers.
