I now have three varieties of sriracha and two types of ketchup.

This is my non-standard ketchup, and it tastes pretty good! Not very sweet, a lot like I'm eating chana masala without the chickpeas.

For my two nonstandard srirachas we have this one, which is very tangy and sweet and a little more liquid than one expects from sriracha, and the Gochujang Sriracha, which is exactly what you expect with that mashup - funky and complex and not that sweet. (It also appears to be listed under the wrong URL. I expect they'll fix that eventually.) They're both delicious, but in opposite directions.

Anyway, all three of these work nicely on the desperation dinner which is Spanish tortilla. Haven't cooked? Haven't shopped? Expected the whole family to eat out? You, too, can whip up something edible with onions, eggs, and potatoes.

The other day a friend said how much they liked the very tomato-y organic ketchup they'd tried. Good condiments are wonderful.

For the ultimately desperate version of Spanish tortilla, I use the frozen hash brown cubes that come with onions and bell pepper. Not as good as fresh sliced potatoes, but even faster!

The Maya Kaimal ketchup has been reliable, though I'm not used to using a condiment that's so chunky. Ironically, most spicy ketchups I keep finding just mix gochujang into it instead which feels a bit too lazy for me to go ahead with given that I have a 5 pound tub of the stuff anyway.

I'm halfway through the tub, I honestly just wanted something that would make sure I wouldn't have to buy more for awhile. Mission accomplished! Still think mixing it with ketchup is a lazy man's game, but Mayochup has convinced me that's probably the point.

Re the LGBT camps: given how much the Mr. and I enjoyed the all-geek JoCo Cruise, because you didn't have to worry AT ALL about anyone's considering your interests weird, I can easily imagine how much a queer child would love such a camp.

That Maya Kaimal ketchup was my favorite for a while, but after going through about 4 bottles of it, I wanted something different. Now I have 4 (other) kinds of ketchup. Regular (nearly empty), unsweetened, curry ketchup, and some other spiced one.
