This just popped up on my reading page
Apr. 7th, 2019 01:02 pmHIAS is offering a printable refugee-crisis Haggadah. From the outside it seems like a pretty appropriate theme for the holiday, and I feel you'd be hard-pressed to find a current cause that's more important than the tens of millions of people who are currently displaced... though global warming is a close second, and anyway, likely to only create more refugees.

Date: 2019-04-04 02:23 am (UTC)HIAS is the group that the white-supremacist scum who shot up Tree of Life was angry about, so this has particular relevance locally. He was upset that one of the other congregations in that building supported HIAS's mission. So, naturally (in his brain), he decided to kill them, and anybody else who happened to be around at the time.
