It's so cold that my sister said there were hardly any kids at school when she went to pick up my son and nephew (her son). My son said a lot of kids in his class got picked up early. I guess no one wanted to linger around waiting for their kids to come out after school. x.x

Here too; it's been snowing off and on since morning - not sticking here in the lowlands though, and the sun is trying to peek through. Spring is still two weeks away; don't want our fruit trees to blossom and then get hit by a late frost.

It would for sure. Seattle got snow last night, and our mountains are shining new-frosted white, but all we got was a faint dusting of crystal specks on the deck.
