Depends on if the pre-bleeding hormonal imbalances are worse, really, whether that 'yay' is sarcasm. For me, the cramps-without-bleeding are worse.

For me, it's really "yay!" when the bleeding starts, and irritability, headache and sadness disappear like magic! But sympathy with the bleeding and all associated unpleasantness and pain.
