That's an interesting thing about the price of smartphones, although I wonder what kind of effect it'll have on the smartphone market.

I could be wrong, but there are a lot of factors leading to the high price of particularly flagship phones. Like manufactured prestige and that thing that other industries do, like squeezing more money out of a narrowing enthusiast market rather than getting more customers in.
