Ooh, pertinent to my arguments. Thanks.

I have been using Amazon a lot more since moving. This past week, for example, I tried to buy padded and Tyvek mailing envelopes local-to-me, an outdoor light timer, and other things; I'd have to drive half an hour to the nearest big stores to have a prayer of buying those in person, and I'd still pay for sales tax and gas. It's been essential for keeping Mom happy alone in her house on the other side of the continent, too. She gets her test strips far more cheaply there than the drugstores.

I will admit that I spent some time in August finding the heaviest thing I could think of for free Prime shipping and subsequently two nice young men delivered a pallet with stone bird bath shrink-wrapped onto it to my home.

I was curious about what the upper limit of free shipping might even be really. Although I think my mom outdid me, her new snowblower came with free shipping and it's much bigger than the bird bath.

Interesting, I'd never heard of such. I'd personally be suspicious of such because the buttermilk of today is so lousy compared to the buttermilk of my childhood.

Have you ever done sweet tea brines? Awesome on chicken. And recipe?!!!

I think the nearest Whole Foods is a four hour drive one-way. I bought some at a health food store in Las Cruces: it was better than the garbage they sell locally, but still not as good as when I was a kid.  I should buy some from Sprouts, they just opened a store in 'Cruces, and I'll be there on the 17th for an appointment.

I'm no gourmet of South Asian cuisine, but I've had lots of delicious things at the local Indian buffets that rae marinated in yogurty, so the buttermilk brine makes perfect sense.
