One ear popped and no longer feels clogged, so that's good. My nose isn't stuffed up, but my sense of smell is reluctant to return. I can smell peanut butter, but not my mouthwash. Vanilla and coffee and cinnamon I can faintly smell (and not the whole thing) but nutmeg, ginger, and garlic are right out. I can smell the antiperspirant part of my deodorant, but not the powder scent. Clearly some chemical compounds are triggering a response (even a small one) but others just... aren't. And which ones are in which group is unpredictable, and not what I would've expected.
From a dispassionate point of view, this is utterly fascinating. From a personal point of view this is extremely annoying.
Oh, and I finished my antibiotics! Tooth feels fine now.
