These gorgeous clay recreations of Mario 64 levels are a testament to the strategy guide's dying art (I remember resorting to a guide for one Mario 64 level.. and then, me being me, I read the rest of the levels, one of which still stands out. Despite being titled "Stand Tall on the Four Pillars", the person who wrote the guide had not figured out that you have to stand on all four pillars to make the pyramid open up and instead had you exploiting a minor glitch to fall into the central pyramid from the top. Years later I still marvel at the effort put into doing it the wrong way when the right way was in the title. Also also, that level drove me batty because something about it triggered my topographical agnosia (I think? like, idk, can I have that inside a video game?) and I could never figure out which pillars I'd already stood on and which I hadn't.)
