Cuddle parties?

Well, there's a market for everything. Personally, I think that if you're truly starved for hugs you're hanging out with the wrong people. Then again, I demand hugs at hourly intervals from my family, right down to the babies (who, I'm pleased to note, are now old enough to understand the word "hug" and will (occasionally) do so! Yay!) I used to be the anti-hug, though. I guess things just changed. *shrugs*

Trust me - I'm truly starved. Probably mostly because I don't hang around with much of anyone, much less the wrong ones!

I can actually understand that. The last time I touched anyone with more than the brush of a hand or a pat on the shoulder was over a month ago.

Like I said, wrong group of people. I actually can't imagine that at all - I hug each of my family members often, kiss the babies, and hug various friends when I see them (okay, I have hardly any real-life friends, but they get hugged dammit! When I see them, which is rarely. Le sigh).

Well, if you didn't live near your family and didn't have a "special someone" to hug, it might be kind of hard to find good hugging/cuddling friends.

When I first moved out here, I think I went months without hugging anyone, just because family was all distant, and my friends were too new and too easily-impressed to be hugging on all the time.

i think it'd be kind of neat for a one-time thing just to see how it goes. i'm not sure how i'd react being there. maybe i would end up not cuddling anyone but my boyfriend (who would come with me, i asked him about it the first time i came across this site). then again, maybe i'd just cuddle everyone and it'd be some life changing experience. haha who knows
