Elephants also have favorite colors just like humans. My sister visited an elephant sanctuary in Thailand where the elephants paint and individual elephants have paint colors they use really frequently.

I was taking sex ed in school later than the sixties and they STILL never talked about anything other than puberty, pregnancy and a lot of scare tactics about disease (remember, it's only premarital sex if you get married afterwards!)

I'm glad they acknowledge GLBT people but other than that that article isn't very specific. I know a lot of religions still push the no sex until you're married crap and I call it crap because I'm fifty-six and not married.

The only thing that discourages bullies is consequences to bullying. If you cry, they're encouraged. If you don't cry, they push and push till a: you stop being able to react (which doesn't actually stop more than the mildest bully types, and only if they have other no-consequence targets), and/or b: they get a reaction.

Everything I hear is all "they only stopped when someone stopped them/I started attacking them"...

A few bullies will stop for crying/screaming. I've personally bumped into them. But they're not usually the ringleaders, and they don't exactly transform into your best buddies afterwards, or if they do it's clandestine and only because they feel guilty.
