There's no such thing as naturally orange cheese

YES! Thirty years ago, I broke some poor grocery store clerk in Marin County, CA, by asking if there was cheddar without added dyes in it. They were like, "All of our cheese is pure and does not have additives!" And I'm like, "Of course it does. All your cheese is orange." And they're like, "Huh?"

Me: "What is cheese made of?"
Clerk: "...milk?"
Me: "Right. And what color is milk?"
Clerk: 0_0 "OMG"
Me: Picks up random block of orange cheese. "Right. See the ingredients? 'and artificial coloring'. They're all like that. Because no natural cheese is orange."
