Or is that one of the nouns we don't verb? Maybe we have to "make a spittake" or "do a spittake" exclusively?

Date: 2017-10-04 07:47 pm (UTC)As a constituent, I can date this precisely -- or semi-precisely, as there are two relevant dates: surviving a primary challenge last year from a Trumpist*, and surviving reelection. There's no way in hell he'll run again (age as well as cancer) so he's got five more years of not having to worry about pandering to the rightward base.
* Who's running again next year against Flake, ugh.

Date: 2017-10-05 12:39 pm (UTC)Arizona’s junior senator is indeed named Jeff Flake. The Trumpist already running against him is
surnamed Kelly (I’m blanking on her personal name)ETA correction one Kelly Ward, who claims to be a complete outsider despite having been in the state house for a couple terms.Without a hyphen

...sleep is good. Sleep is important. Sailors should get some sleep! (Or at least have People Who Have Had Sleep on duty to watch over the people who are being stress-tested.)

(Halo onna stick)
If people want to have doctors and sailors who are trying to show they can do stuff on Lousy Sleep, they should be being followed around by a partner who had good sleep, that's what I figure. But honestly, SLEEP IS IMPORTANT augh augh augh, isn't there some thing about if you get sleep deprived, it's equivalent to being drunk?

Science in politics needs to change in general. I think it's been pointed out that there's only been two senators with actual science PhDs in the past decade, and both retired. Instead we get shlubs like Ted Cruz thinking he knows what's best for NASA. It's insane! It's a shame a fair number of academics without the money to stay in academia aren't charismatic enough to get into running against incumbents; I'd vote for them to get into the House.
Also, god bless for sharing more Clickhole. Patriothole is also workable for me.

Maybe instead of divvying up Congress by location, we need to do it by job. But then we'd need something for "unemployed" and another for "retired", I guess....
