And now I'm appropriately exhausted. Whew!

Interesting fact I did not know before this year: If you walk around with a chihuahua, at least once a day, somebody will go "Ay, chihuahua!" at you in a Spanish or mock-Spanish accent. This is probably supposed to be funny. It's not... especially when the chihuahua in question is trying to attack their pit bull, husky, or rather large mutt.

(She lunges very dramatically at the end of her leash and barks a lot. I suspect that this is the canine equivalent of screaming "HOLD ME BACK!" while not trying very hard to escape your friends' grasp, but I don't want to test it.)

lol Although sometimes they really do think they can kill the bigger critter. (My sister's old cat did that a lot. And won!)

Years ago I had friends who had the tiniest Yorkie ever. His name was Augie, and he would jump bigger dogs. Drove them nuts. One day he jumped a Rottweiler and was hanging from the big dogs throat, growling like crazy. The Rottweiler just looked at the people around him, like, "WTF?!"

They had to pry Augie's mouth off the other dog.

Both dogs were uninjured as Augie had virtually no teeth and the Rottweiler didn't know what to do with the "thing" gumming his neck.

OMG, it would be AMAZING if the FDA would finally, finally clear MDMA/Ecstasy to be used (again) in therapeutic settings for PTSD patients.

My dad has bad PTSD from Vietnam, and I recommended this to him after a) doing ecstasy and b) doing my reading. But he doesn't want to do anything illegal :-/

Based on our experience with Monty, Chihuahuas actually do think they can beat up dogs (in her case) 15 times their size, right up until the point where the big dog bites them back.
In the case of the one down the street, that I had to pry Monty's jaws off the poor little Chihuahua before it expired from asphyxiation, as she'd collapsed its chest, the Chi *still* barks wildly and throws itself at the window when we walk by.

Moonpie's only half a chihuahua. Judging from how she acts if she actually gets close to humans she's barking at, my guess is she'd back off from dogs too.
