Wow.
Okay, first things first, Chase Graves was wonderfully Loganesque during the entire ep. I love it. (That's Logan Echolls, and if you're a fan of iZombie but haven't seen Veronica Mars, you need to remedy this posthaste.) That scene with Liv in the bathrobe (and towel turban!) was hilarious.
(So was the scene with the guys on blue choreography brain, and the redux where there's only one of them left.)
Really didn't think they'd reveal zombies to the world - but hey, good news, now Liv can come clean to her mom! She can reconcile!
I definitely saw the attempted coup before it happened, but was not at all anticipating Chase making it out alive.
Did not see the plan the way it happened, and definitely didn't expect to see the show reveal zombies to the world like this. (LOL at Johnny Frost gleefully cutting in line, but he really shaped up and put on the Serious News face when he needed to. Good job, Johnny Frost!)
Thrilled that Dale was looped in before the rest of Seattle - and btw, I now have a burning desire to see somebody write in a Frasier/iZombie crossover, because I can bet Frasier and Niles would have some very interesting reactions. But we gotta do some timey-wimey things and have the last season of Frasier end just before the boat party, I think. (I've been watching TV with my mother to make up for her having to watch iZombie with me. She watches a lot of Frasier.)
Still want to know if zombie kids age, and if a mommy zombie and a daddy zombie perforce make a baby zombie, or if they are infertile, or if their kids are immune, or if it's a cointoss, or what.
And Blaine got his happy ending too! He's still a horrible person! Even though he's such a woobie and I just want to hug him!
I notice that we all seem to have forgotten the cure was stolen, and I want to scream at Ravi so much. The important thing is not to be all mad scientist and make a cure or a vaccine, the important thing is to figure out how the Utopium got tainted so you can make more of it. Doofus.
We also all completely forgot about Peyton's twitter stalker. Not happy about that one.
So. Yeah. I'm... I'm... I think I'm gonna rewatch the whole series now. Because yeah.

Date: 2017-06-29 06:06 am (UTC)My husband commented that Ravi should've waited a little while for his vaccine to take effect. Because it's not instantaneous for most of them, I think?
Anyway, loved it. Chase Graves was surprisingly badass, and this made me very happy. And he definitely had the Loganesque Snark that I loved about that character. Since he didn't die, he'll be in it next season, right? Right?
I also loved how Liv went back to her usual look after Chase complimented her on the new one.
I actually typed Veronica instead of Liv and had to fix it. Maybe I should watch Veronica Mars again.

ALWAYS a good idea!
