School-type update

conulyMy Core 5.1 final went well. Tomorrow is the Core 1. I need to read the Aeneid tonight. *shudders* God, I hate Vergil. And I can still quote the expletive. Listen:

Sivestrem tenui musam meditaris avena
Nos patriam fines, et dulcia linquimus arva
Nos patriae fugimus; tu, Tityre, lente in umbra
Formosam resonare dulces Amarylida silvas.
O, Meliboee, deus nobis haec otia fecit
Namque erit ille mihi semper deus, illius aram
Saepe tener nostris, ab ovilibus imbuet agnus
Ille errare bovis, ut cernis, et ipsum
Ludere quae vellum calamo permisit agresti.

Stuck in my head, evil thing! That's not the Aeneid, though, that's the Bucolics. Wish it were the Aeneid we'd done last term, I wouldn't have to read it today. We did get through all the Bucolics except Eclogues 3 and 8....
Um. Anyway. I'm going to be busybusy this week. Cleaning. Waking up early in preparation for second summer session. That sort of thing.
