Not a chance. Come hell or high water, I am voting the first Tuesday after the first Monday in November. I don't care if the terrorists attack me, specifically. I don't care if aliens invade. I don't even care if Bush is grabbed up in the Rapture, or swallowed up by the earth, I am NOT letting him have another chance at the presidency. NOT HAPPENING.

I'm with you. I'll be at the voting booth, even if no one else is.

Um. Isn't the date of the election Constitutionally mandated?? Drat, it isn't.

Text of Article II (http://www.law.cornell.edu/constitution/constitution.articleii.html#section1)

In fact, it looks like Congress can pretty much change things at will. Gah. November 2, here we come!

Jeeze, if I were a terrorist planning to do something on election day, you know what I'd do? I'd just wait for election day to arrive! Who cares what the exact date is.

This sounds scarily like a tactic for Bush to stay in office longer. As if to "indefinetely" postpone election. From the very beginning, I've seen dictatorship potential in this gang.

And, FWIW, I totally wouldn't put it past Bush and Company to purposely do/let things happen on election day. With their full knowledge or even orders.
