*sighs* I miss having kittens around. I like kittens. More than cats, even, because you get to see them grow up. I wonder if there's some sort of kitten foster program. I wouldn't take the ones too young to eat at all (those die too fast, and I can't shake the feeling that it's my fault), and I wouldn't take full grown cats. Just kittens for the cute stage.

Yep, there is... A lot of animal shelters have a "foster" program where the foster parent cares for (and socializes) kittens until they're physically/psychologically ready to be adopted out.

A quick Google based on what I remember of where you've said you live gave me this:

They say that they desperately need foster parents for their kittens. :-)

I love you. Truly. *hugtackles* Now all I need is a clean house, and I'm set. One kitten alone is a miserable thing, almost as bad as one cat alone, so I'd have to see if I could always have two or three....
