Two thoughts on iZombie and Supergirl
Apr. 25th, 2017 10:25 pm1. "What's your Kryptonite?" Does everybody know about this little weakness? I mean, I can see the overt baddies knowing, but how widespread is this information? Isn't that the sort of thing you want to keep hush-hush?
2. The look on everybody's face when they found out the deceased was a huge gossip was hilarious. Clive makes the very best straight man.

And for Lena using it in somewhat casual conversation, there are two explanations -- one, she's not aware it's not that commonly known (she has "no friends", remember), or she is and once more teases Kara for being Supergirl without telling her.
I would prefer the second option, for many reasons.

Date: 2017-04-26 06:46 am (UTC)It does seem like kryptonite has been common knowledge from the Supergirl show's beginning. And the actor who plays Ravi on iZombie (I've forgotten his name), I liked seeing him do something different and liked his chemistry with Lena. Although I knew the moment he appeared that he had to be either a villain, or doomed to die, since he has to be Ravi on iZombie. But something about this... I never found myself terribly attracted to the actor while he was playing Ravi, but I found him really interesting as Jack, and may have developed an unexpected crush.
I love Clive. And I also kinda liked the Man of La Mancha thing with Major... I often find Major annoying, but this amused me.

Rahul. I mean, he has a last name too, but I wouldn't call him that to his face so I don't remember it.

I had absolutely the opposite reaction. He's usually kinda adorkable, in an adorable way (well, except for the recent contrived love triangle....) but in this incarnation, meh. Love the actor's tweets when people post them up for general consumption, though.

I don't want to spoil the latest episode but some of what was defined in it I didn't care for. Killer Frost bothers me. Cisco gets powers without being evil, Wally gets powers without being evil, Jesse Quick gets powers without being evil. Why the hell can't Caitlin have powers without them turning her evil? I hate it. I mean, I still enjoy the show, but I hate that.
