conulyFirst we trimmed away the fur from his eyes so he could see, poor dog.
Then we trimmed away his mats, bit by bit. Enough matted fur there to make a whole new dog, and clothe it, too!
Then I decided to trim the stragglies off his tail and ears. This did look better.
Then Eva apparently decided to just trim all his straggly bits. Which is not an entirely bad idea, but doing this while wielding only a pair of scissors... it's, um... a bit uneven. Some of those trims are way too close to his skin for this time of year!
Clearly we need to get him to a real groomer sooner rather than later, but that's still going to have to wait until after he gets fixed.
Or maybe we just need to find our clippers and have at it. What's the worst that can happen?
