Donald Trump Protests Planned in Union Square, Columbus Circle

So do I go to the one at Union Square? Or the one at Columbus Circle?

I'm leaning towards Union Square. I can stop at the Strand beforehand. Plus it starts later and is closer to home, so I don't have to leave as early. But I don't know... am I really socialist enough for this? Maybe anti-racism is more my speed today.

Oh, srsly, what's the point? The election is over, and Trump won - I won't say 'fairly', but 'legally' at least. Marching in the street isn't going to change either this election's result, or the election laws for next time. Your time would be far better spent staying home and sending e-mails to all your elected officials. This also carries far less risk of getting shot, beaten or pepper-sprayed.

Well, I'm thinking it's a lot like spending the day online commiserating with other people, except I get some exercise and fresh air. So that's sorta the point.

You're going to laugh, but no. Ana finally came out from wherever she was hiding and I decided to make her do the math she'd been avoiding all day. Once she got into her groove I couldn't up and leave her.

My mother strongly regrets not going, and if I'd realized she wanted to I would've dropped everything to go with her. She's not too steady on her feet right now - yesterday, we had to actually have the pizza girl drive us home from voting!
