Let me see if I understand the point of this. You spend your life helping people. You apparently believe in God. And God loves people... I think... but all the same, he sends you to Hell for, as near as I can tell, not telling other people about him (so now he's got to send them to Hell too). Because helping people does nothing. Right. Got it.

Okay. This one makes sense. Sorta. Apparently, it's impossible to keep all 10 of the 10 commandments (that is to say the Decalogue, since there's more than just 10 commandments in the Bible). I'm not likely to murder anybody, nor use God's name in spells (which is what we think that prohibition originally meant. I don't know God's name anyway, so it's a moot point). I don't think I covet anything, and I haven't stolen, to the best of my knowledge. Not gonna commit adultery any time soon. And I think any fool can honor their parents. That leaves, what, not bowing down to graven images and putting no gods before God, right? Well, okay, I don't bow down to graven images, but I'm an agnostic, so I'm not so sure I'm going to be able to keep that one. Still, if I weren't agnostic, it'd be easy. Oh, and keeping the Sabbath day holy. Yeah, see agnostic again. Oh, and I've never lied about my neighbors, either in court or out.
Personally, I think it's pretty easy not to break those commandments. Unfortunately, I think our dear friend Mr. Chick seems to be missing out on one of them, the one about "bearing false witness". The educational system might not be his neighbor, technically speaking, but he very sorely misrepresented them here. Firstly, nobody would be arrested for putting up a religious document. Most that would happen is they'd lose their job, and that wouldn't happen unless people sued, and there was only the one religion represented. Second, nobody is stopping kids from discussing their religion in schools. Those that do are breaking the law, unless the discussion is interfering with class or is harrassing (telling people that they're evil, even if you believe it, isn't allowed).

Religious harassment is illegal. The entire thing can be discounted because this wouldn't happen. Besides, who has such animosity towards religion that they'd act like this? But oh look. He repents at the last minute and gets into heaven. Unjust, I'd call it.

Right, because all gay people have AIDS, no straight people do, and the government can't possibly test the blood supply. Uh huh.
As for Sodom, assuming that was their sin, I have only this to say. Rape, even "gay" rape, doesn't have much to do with homosexuality. That's why most people in prison aren't actually gay, because the rape there is about power. Not sex. More on this. At any rate, two passages in the bible don't really convince me. I'm not God, so maybe I misunderstand, but I fail to see how this could be a raging concern of his. Mihi, anybody who thinks it is is saying much more about their own state of mind than God's. Could be wrong, of course. Next time God and I have a conversation, I'll ask him.

Everybody's favorite tract. Stupid girl kills herself because her character died in an RPG. *laughs* And she's not the only one so wrapped up in her game that she loses sight of reality. Well, just goes to show, stupid people really DO die young.
