Why does the left want to see us fail in Iraq? Is the White House that important to them that they'd throw Americans under a speeding truck just to bash Bush?

Already, I want to throw an American under a speeding truck....

They never supported our troops in Iraq. They just don't know how. They think that it helps our troops by calling them merciless killers and war criminals.

Who does that? Anybody? Anybody at all? Looking for a show of hands here... *snorts* At least I don't think it helps our troops to lower their benefits, keep them in Iraq after their tour of duty is supposed to be over, send them out ill-equipped and under-trained....

Since the military is mostly conservative I feel it's safe to assume that a lot of Bush voters are having to suffer to keep them free.

Yes, and they have us to thank for that. Of course.

I hope if Kerry is elected that when terrorists, with help from the axis of evil (which the fools derided as simplistic), set off a nuclear bomb it is set off in the most liberal areas of America.

1. It IS simplistic! And stupid! Iraq is in NO WAY affiliated with N. Korea (though I think N. Korea is a much greater threat).

2. Um, Homeland Security? I've got a terrorist threat here. Can you do something about this anti-American creep? He's scaring me!

With the rise of the left's popularity it's not a question of "if". It's a question of "when".

And this is where you have to ask yourself: Why is the left more popular these days? What does it offer that the right doesn't?

If only the left would drop this facade and admit they have no plans or intention to keep America, or even the world, safe from terrorists.

Nope, I don't. The thing is, I admit have no plans about this, and I refrain from doing anything that will increase the odds of terrorism. I'm not sure I can say the same for everybody, unfortunately. This includes "elected" officials.

I hate these fools. I hate them.

I hate these fools. I hate them.

No, actually, I don't. Pity, yes, and mock. Not hate.

"But remember, the right wants to protect Americans from terrorists!" *eye roll*

Yes, that is why I side with the left. Because we're all going to get together when Kerry gets elected, hook up with the terrorists, and nuke the planet. Join us, it'll be fun!

If you could all bail me out of federal prison tomorrow after the FBI picks me up because they can't tell the difference between seriousness and snark, I'd appreciate it.

I'll bring the cookies, if you bring the detonators. But seriously, this is the wiggiest thing... Wow.

I'll take pity /and/ hate for 400.

I'm still waiting to hear an explanation of how wanting soldiers to come home alive and not completely traumatized equates to not supporting them. Somehow, no right-wing nutters want to answer that.

I'm totally with you. I hate how: "I don't like the principles behind this war" turns into "but... but... what about the soldiers!"

"...I'd like them home now, thanks."

"Oh em gee, you liberal traitor!"

"I'm a Republican!"

"DEMONCRAT!"
