You know, I've been thinking of that friending frenzy I linked to.

Back in the day, I made plenty of LJ friends from comms. And now many of the comms are dead in the water, but of course, they still exist. But nobody wants to be the only poor schmuck still posting at metaquotes or whatever, right? I wonder if it would make sense to do a friending meme thing for comms. I know there was a community for community promotion, but maybe a more personal touch is the way to go?
