2. And that includes the kid, who by the way, at nine years old has got to be old enough to be weirded out that one of Mommy's friends wants to just randomly drop by and hang out with him from the very first time they meet.
3. So they just... left Vandal's ashes there? Aside from the fact that this is littering, isn't that the first rule of vampires, that you SWEEP UP THE ASHES? Sure he's not technically a vampire, but any immortal being that dusts when they die should probably be swept up and scattered as a precautionary measure. (I mean, unless they're not evil, but how often does that come up?)
