Yep, I'm quite well aware that H.P. Lovecraft would have hated me because of my Eastern European and French Canadian ancestries. (French Canadians were the job-stealing undocumented immigrants of the late 19th century.)

LOL, the Onion sure is sharp on target this issue.

I LOVE the Sky Pool, woah! But why is it only 10 pitiful stories up? It's overlooked by all those higher buildings all around, and there's nothing under it but cityscape - still cool, of course, but not a fraction as cool as it could be.

Suppose this concept catches on in Dubai, land of insanely expensive weird architecture? They could build, like, a hexagon of 50-story mirror-glass towers rising straight out of the sea, with glass walkways connecting them, and also connecting to a giant glass 'fishbowl' infinity pool (http://twistedsifter.com/2010/07/25-stunning-infinity-pools-worldwide/) suspended in the center, the surface of which is higher than roof-level. Now that would be a Sky Pool.

What a stunning place from which to watch the tsunami roll in! We have the technology to make the disaster movie!
