So I found out about this free program which provides recorder training to asthmatic kids. Not 100% certain if it really has any benefits, but hey, music is a required subject!
I definitely got in touch with these people. I spoke to them, my sister emailed them, but I couldn't find them when I showed up at Mount Sinai (the medical center). The security guard called them. They directed me to the third floor. Nobody was there.
Seriously, wtf? So I gave up and had a truly awful bialy at the corner deli, and I didn't know bialys could be awful.
Then we came home. Ana had come home before Eva and I did, and apparently we'd locked the door? She needed to pee. Why she didn't go to the library, I don't know.
Quick, throw some pasta in the pot for the girls, run to CVS before the pharmacy closes! There was road work. The bus driver stopped 4 blocks away, and I go "Oh, shit, can you, uh, let me off here?" and I ran the remaining two stops. Got there literally at 8:54, place closes at 9.
Well, at least I accomplished something asthma-related, which reminds me, she needs a follow-up with her doctor.
