No squabbling or bickering, we not only did everything planned but did extra, and Ana has been just breezing through her math lately!

I occasionally berate myself for not making them do waaaaay more writing, but every time I see them writing on their own I remember that that was the entire goal and pat myself on the back. Ana had it worst, but both of them had issues with school writing I wanted to spend this year recovering from - and it's working.

The story about Australian traditions about sea rise reminded me of the story of the Campo del Cielo meteorite. It has a tradition that it fell from the sky that was reported in 1576; the meteorite probably hit about 4000 years earlier.
