And a few other groceries, of course. I thought if I got there by 2-ish that was doable.
And I could get there by 2-ish because Jenn was getting out of work early and could pick the kids up from their cooking camp. Except that they got ketchup on their coats and I ended up at a laundromat instead. Do you know how many people go to the laundromat on Christmas Eve? More than you think, that's how many. In retrospect, I should've told Jenn to skip lunch and pick up her own darn laundry, but instead I got home right as the store was jampacked and ended up with not very much for Christmas.
Luckily, my mom went out today and found an open Pathmark and picked up ham, potatoes, broccoli, and a dessert, just as requested. Unluckily, she thought we also needed four gallons of eggnog. WTF, Mom? WTF?
