Semi-random thought before I go to bed.
Jun. 13th, 2004 02:16 amMommy spent the whole day with Ana. And this night, while we were eating (the dinner was wonderful, if I do say so myself, which I do, obviously), she went over what Ana had done today. It's really amazing, they used to learn a new skill every few weeks or so, and now they're learning something new every day, or twice a day. But I digress. One of the things Ana's really catching onto, Mommy said, is the idea of pointing. You point to something, she'll look at it.
I have very clear memories of people pointing at things and me standing there going "stop pointing, I don't understand it, just TELL ME what you want me to look at". So as Mommy's talking, I had to interrupt her to say "I never did that, did I?". Not ever, apparently. Which, of course, leads Jenn to say that I still have a hard time figuring out what people are pointing out. And here I thought I was doing so well. :(
