You turn away from one article on global warming to find that our elected officials are really, really stupid (or fascist, or annoying, or evil - take your pick of adjective).
It's just been a lousy summer all around. (No articles about lice, but there are bedbugs in the trains, guys.)
I'm hoping things shape up in September. It might be more boring if it does, but I think I can handle it.
