I finally have it!
Jun. 12th, 2014 07:44 pmThe very last school newsletter from Ana's school. I've been good the past 6 years, waiting for this moment, and I shall have it. I'm sending the whole thing over to the "blog", and provide their heads don't utterly explode over there you can expect to see it in all its quoted up glory shortly.
Special mention must go to the fact that It is hard to say "goodbye" and, of course, the statement that one of the things they did this year as a school is raise $1500 to build an orphanage in Haiti for homeless orphans. There were no quote marks in the latter sentence, it was just redundant.
On that note, did anybody here live through Katrina? Evangeline urgently needs to interview you.
1. Did you have to evacuate?
2. Were you able to live in your home after the hurricane?
3. After your experience, do you think you are ready for the next hurricane?
4. What will you do differently and why?
Thanks, guys!

A bill that would have let millions of people refinance their student loans at a lower interest rate has failed in the Senate, after Republicans objected that it included a tax on the wealthy to pay for it. The measure would have allowed people with older loans to benefit from today's low interest rates.
