33 interesting home interior ideas. If I ever win the lottery, I am going to get two of those stair slides, and one more going nowhere just for show, as the song says. (I am also going to put in a heck of a lot more book cases. And buy more books, which of course will necessitate still more shelves, but that's a given.)

Some of those seem like neat ideas, and some of them seem like really bad ideas. Among the latter I'd count the sand under your desk. That'd get tracked everywhere!

The bookshelf staircase also makes me uncomfortable, because I imagine myself ending up kicking the books, and that wouldn't be treating them well. Or at least, having books in feet-space doesn't seem like treating them well.
