Well, sans the poll part. Figgy made me some Very Hungry Caterpillar icons (which she should really put in an independent post instead of just tacked onto my request, they're too good to just stay there) and I can't decide which one to use:

#3 is a really good "midway point" -- for me, #1's background seems too glaringly white/empty, and #2 has too distracting a background. #3 is just right, it has a background but it's subtle and not distracting. :-)

I like number one, for some reason, but failing that, three is good. Two is kind of busy.

I'm glad you like, and out of them, I agree that #3 was probably my favourite. #1 was too hastily done and #2 was too busy. I think I probably will post them when I get back, but I'm going to spend some time gathering a few more book icons to add to the post.

I actually liked two, but I was concerned about how other people would view it. I like it *because* it's overly busy.
