Beaches open this weekend!

And the weather was beautiful up until this week, when it got rainy and cold. Well, maybe it'll change by Saturday. Anybody wanna go to the beach?

I'd love to go to the beach ^-^ I just can't drive there.

you mean....your beaches are CLOSED sometimes?

Boy howdy, am I glad that I live in a civilized state. You can drive down to the beach and go sit out there to storm-watch at midnight in January if you so desire.

This just tends to confirm my earlier hypothesis that the East Coast sucks.

If by "closed" you mean "it isn't possible to sue if you drown", then yes, yes I do. You can always go on a walk by the beach, and the polar bear club takes swims in the middle of winter.
