My throat is sore.

If ever you mentioned something like this to my Bonne-Maman - a sore throat, an itch, the hiccups, a sneeze - she'd reply that it meant you'd be dead in three days.

In these days of covid, I don't know! Even vaccinated, maybe I really will, so here's me saying to her: thanks for that!
