Encounter at the drug store the other day

This woman was standing on line with her two year old, and she bought a bag of M&Ms - and then automatically raised it to her face to try to open it with her teeth! Can't do that with a mask on!

Alas, once she opened it and gave a candy to her child, the kid promptly dropped it so it rolled to my feet. I picked it up before he could get to it and put the floor candy in his mouth, and by the look on that poor child's face I'm clearly the meanest grown-up he's ever encountered in his life. His mother thanked me, at least.
