There's the one we usually go to, the one we go to when we want Mexican coca-cola, and the one we hardly ever go to. There's nothing wrong with that third one, it's just that once we've walked down there we might as well go the extra block and go to the supermarket instead.
Anyway, that third one recently closed, and this week it reopened under new management. It's a perfectly ordinary little bodega, nothing special about it, doesn't even have a cat - but in between a month ago and when they re-opened, they've redecorated slightly. Specifically, they exchanged their regular lighting for four spectacular crystal chandeliers.
I may not understand their design choices, but I sure respect them.
