And despite what I said about the cops not needing military gear, I've decided to join them and get my own piece of military gear.

It is a compass. I'm sure it will be very useful for homeschooling. It might be slightly less handy for crimefighting. The Human Compass would be the absolute lamest superpower ever. Definitely. (But at least they'd hardly ever be accused of superhero brutality.)

No matter how hard I try, I simply cannot convince my family that although I like the Richmond County Fair, I don't particularly want to spend all day there. They can all leave at 10:30. I have to toss a load of laundry in, stop by the supermarket, and generally brace myself for the RCF.

Ugh. Oh, and wash some dishes. I hate laundry and I hate dishes, and Eva broke a plate again just a few days ago. It'd be better if we lived somewhere warm and went around naked and lived in a state of nature and never used dishes at all.
