(She has a page at TV Tropes, which makes no sense because I still can't find the existing fandom. Ugh.)
And it was, and I bought it, and it was good. They get early reviewer copies to sell at times :) Now, I tell you, I went in with the best of intentions, to buy one book and one book only... I didn't even make it in the door. I think I was better off before I knew how to get to the Strand, really. Oh well.
While I was out and about, I saw that apparently they made a made-for-HBO movie on Temple Grandin that's airing in mid-February. I don't have high hopes for this, but as I don't have HBO I suppose I'll never know.
