It's beyond cute. She can get three younger children* singing songs in unison. She can prompt her sister so she gives the appearance of knowing how to spell. (Actually, Evangeline is very good at guessing spelled words from context, but that's not what I mean.) She spends a lot of time helping her sister with colors, or with numbers.
I love it so much. She's a natural-born teacher, and it's enough to make my little heart melt every time I see it.
Thursday, she dragged her sister up to the Storytime person, and went "My sister can sing all of Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star!" and started her sister up. Well, left alone, Evangeline can only get the first two lines out.
So Ana held her hands and asked if she wanted to sing it *with* Ana, to help. So they did, and they slowed down a bit and Evangeline went through the whole song this way. "See? She knows the whole song! Isn't that cool?"
*The girl and boy I have watched sometimes, those are the other two children singing. They come over now and the girl gets naked and declares she wants to wear Ana's dresses. So does Evangeline. So what does the little boy do? He strips too! I'd let him wear a dress, but his mother objects. Sparkly shoes yes, dresses no. (Given that she puts him in pants a full size too large this ultimately means he runs around naked, but that's all right, he's toilet training now.)
